Well, last year's Snape's Birthday HP Fandom Time-Capsule is now open for public viewing again. Rather a small one, for 2008; and most of the predictions for the HBP movie might as well be recycled for another year. For extra nostalgia, try the Time-Capsule 2007 and Time-Capsule 2005.

In other news, [info]loupnoir is seeking advice on "Russian profanity, as in the sexual sort" - examples of actual real-world usage - so if you're an expert in this field, go share your wisdom. :)

[info]loupnoir! Huh! She wrote one of my favorite HP fic series, one of the few that still tumbles around in my head on a regular basis. (I'm not in the fandom much anymore and I've forgotten most other fics.)

I had no idea she was on LJ. Yay!

Oh, hello! Nice to have found you again! I hope you don't mind that I friended you, I enjoy learning about new stuff and haven't looked into Russian things much at all. (Feel free not to friend me back if my posts don't interest you. 90% of what I write is about FFXI, so I don't get offended when non-MMO people don't friend me back. :) )

Nah. The response was pretty minimal last year, so I'm not bothering this year. Try a private post for yourself! You're sure to forget it quite thoroughly over a whole year.
