Oh, there's no rational explanation for what makes us whimper or squee. You know the urban myth about the spinster, the surprise party, the dog and the jar of peanut butter? I just got horrible flashbacks to that, and because it's (supposedly) RL it makes me queasy.

Of course, your rhymelet with its clever simplicity and deft use of canon fact is a completely different kettle of ... squid, perhaps? I seek leave to withdraw my whimper. And let the record show that I make no attempt to defend my avocado fetish.
